Thirty years ago, Martin Cruz Smith's debut novel of crime and intrigue in the Soviet Union, "Gorky Park," was a best-seller. He's still at it with this installment, "Three Stations" (Simon & Schuster, $25.99) featuring detective Arkady Renko.
