An arrest warrant has been obtained by Castle Shannon police for the arrest of a borough woman already in jail on charges connected to a door-to-door fund-raising operation there and in nearby towns.

Amanda Krull, 20, of Pearl Drive, is suspected of numerous instances of theft by deception, attempted theft, and soliciting without a permit, Castle Shannon police Chief Ken Truver said.
Ms. Krull for several months had been knocking on doors seeking donations for a non-existent epilepsy fund, Chief Truver said.
She is suspected of having targeted residents in Castle Shannon, Mt. Lebanon, Baldwin Borough, Brentwood and Whitehall.
Ms. Krull was arrested March 3 by Brentwood police. She had been free on bond, but her bail was revoked at a hearing Tuesday, and she remains in the Allegheny County Jail, according to court records.
She is awaiting trial on charges of misrepresentation of a charity, theft by deception, attempted theft and soliciting without a permit in connection with the Brentwood arrest.
Whitehall police charged her March 4 with nine counts of theft by deception.
Investigators in Castle Shannon connected Ms. Krull to the scam through checks that had been written to her by victims.
Chief Truver said his officers were summoned March 8 by residents on Steiger Street who said the suspect told them she could not accept donations for less than $10.
Police in the affected towns have shared information on the case, Chief Truver said.
