Friday, January 01, 2010

Where: 117 Sandusky St., North Side.

How far: 5 minutes from Downtown.

How much: Adults, $15; students with valid ID and children ages 3- 18, $8; seniors 55 and older, $9. Members free. • What to do: You've been teased with Shepard Fairey murals all over the city as you go about your errands and trips to work and school, but there's only a month left to view the real stuff at The Warhol Museum. "Shepard Fairey: Supply and Demand" is the first solo show for the 39-year-old contemporary artist of 250 works he created over 20 years. The exhibition closes Jan. 31.

He brings sociopolitical issues to life in his often huge pieces. Not to be missed is his famous Obama/Hope poster that threw him into the international limelight. To learn more about the exhibit, hours and other information, go to www.warhol.org or call 412-237-8300.

Fun factor: 8.
