A Glassport man today was senteced to 45 to 90 years in prison this morning for raping a girl over the course of several years.

Richard Lee Smith Sr., 43, was convicted in July before Allegheny County Judge Donna Jo McDaniel. He raped the girl, now 18, several times during a four-year period starting when she was 10 or 11 years old. He was arrested in March 2007.
