Police seeking man who robbed New Alexandria bank

Investigators are looking for a bandana-masked gunman who robbed the First Commonwealth Bank in New Alexandria, Westmoreland County, yesterday.

About noon, a man wearing a dark camouflage hunting outfit entered the bank, brandished a black handgun and demanded cash, state police said. The man, described as being 5 feet, 8 inches tall, then fled.

The FBI and state police are investigating. Anyone with information on the incident should call the Kiski Valley barracks at 724-727-3434.
