Citizens who wish to vote in the Nov. 4 election must be registered by close of business today. Registered voters who have moved or changed their name or party affiliation also must notify their elections office.
Prospective voters can register at county registration offices, PennDOT photo license centers and certain other state government offices. They also can download registration applications from the Pennsylvania's VotesPA Web site or obtain them from government offices or other sources, but mailed forms must be postmarked today.
The Allegheny County Elections Division, Room 609, County Office Building, 542 Forbes Ave., Downtown, will remain open until 5 p.m. today to accept hand-delivered voter registration forms.
