The Parkway East/Interstate 376 will be restricted to a single lane in the outbound direction -- and several ramps will be closed -- between the Edgewood-Swissvale and Monroeville interchanges starting 9 p.m. today.

But the mainline and ramp restrictions are to be lifted by 5 a.m. Sunday because of the 31st annual Richard S. Caliguiri/City of Pittsburgh Great Race that begins at 8:30 a.m.

Ramps to be affected include the outbound off-and on-ramps at Churchill Road, the outbound on-ramp from William Penn Highway, the Business Route 22 ramp to McCrady Road, and the Wilkinsburg outbound on-ramps.

No inbound traffic restrictions are planned this weekend.
