The Pittsburgh school board will vote Wednesday on retaining auctioneers to sell as many as 18 surplus district buildings.

First to be auctioned would be the former Boggs Avenue, Chatham, Gladstone and Washington Polytechnic school buildings.

The board will vote on retaining Macarro Auction Co. of Hellertown, Northampton County, and Hostetter Auctioneers of Beaver Falls.

The board also will vote on selling the former Lemington elementary school building to Destiny International Ministries, which now has a location in Homewood, for $125,000.
