The death of a woman this week in the Collier police lockup has been ruled suicide, the Allegheny County medical examiner said.

Amber Kendzlic, 23, whose last known address was in Bridgeville, was pronounced dead at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday at St. Clair Hospital. She was taken there after police found her hanging from her neck in the lockup.

Ms. Kendzlic was arrested on a warrant that charged her with missing court appearances related to charges filed back to 2004, including identity theft, tampering with records, obstruction of the administration of law and traffic violations.
