Friday, July 25, 2008

Pittsburgh police have released a surveillance video of two people robbing a pizza delivery man on the Bluff before they held up the shop itself.

The robbers confronted the delivery man as he exited the rear door of the shop at 11:49 p.m. Monday.

With a gun pointed at the victim's head, they took $120 from him.

They then went inside the store, Pizza Milano, held other employees at gunpoint, and stole $580.

The armed robbers fled along Watson Alley and got into a silver car. The vehicle was seen driving away from Fifth Avenue to McGee Street and then Washington Place, police said.

The getaway vehicle could be seen on the surveillance video before the robbery as well as when it traveled down Watson Alley.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police at 412-323-7151.
