Bishop Canevin High School senior Stacy McClellan finished fourth in the nation in client service June 24-29 at the Future Business Leaders of America National Leadership Conference in Atlanta.
Erin Cannon, a student at Chartiers Valley High School, received an achievement award and a $500 scholarship from the Military Wives Club at the 99th U.S. Army Reserve Center, Moon. They are presented to children of military personnel.
Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh has named winners in the annual Ralph Munn Creative Writing and High School Photo Contests. Tom Morrison, of Chartiers Valley High School, won $500 for Best Achievement in Photography. In creative nonfiction, $250 was awarded to Richa Bhasin, of Moon Area High School.
