• Bishop Canevin High School senior Stacy McClellan finished fourth in the nation in client service June 24-29 at the Future Business Leaders of America National Leadership Conference in Atlanta.

Erin Cannon, a student at Chartiers Valley High School, received an achievement award and a $500 scholarship from the Military Wives Club at the 99th U.S. Army Reserve Center, Moon. They are presented to children of military personnel.

• Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh has named winners in the annual Ralph Munn Creative Writing and High School Photo Contests. Tom Morrison, of Chartiers Valley High School, won $500 for Best Achievement in Photography. In creative nonfiction, $250 was awarded to Richa Bhasin, of Moon Area High School.

• These students in St. Philip Catholic School in Crafton were recognized for achieving all A's: Simon Grefenstette, Zachary Mell, Shaughn McDonald, Shane Buckley, Hanna Lamm, Mark Szymanski, Kelly Burgess, grade 6; Kirby Crabbe, Fallon Pulford, Sophia Worrall, Sarah Kelly, Rachel Rattay, Lexi Wivell, Casey La Buda, grade 7.

Jacob Gudewicz and Morgan Figura were named eighth-grade male and female Students of the Year at Chartiers Valley Middle School.
