CLASSES

FUND-RAISERS

Midland -- Una Bella Festa, an Italian dinner and concert, will be Sunday at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center, 1 Lincoln Park. Dinner at 5 p.m. will be served in the Midland gym and the concert at 7 o'clock will take place in the main theater. Performing will be operatic tenor Matt Morgan with Vito DiSalvo's group "We Three." Tickets, $25 each, are available at the box office or by calling 724-643-9004. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit center.

Oakdale -- Hogs for Hoses 7, a motorcycle run to benefit the Oakdale Hose Co., will be held Saturday, beginning at the Oakdale Inn, 5200 Noblestown Road. Sign up is at 1 p.m. Bikes go at 3 o'clock. Cost is $20 per bike, which includes a T-shirt. Passengers are $10. Cars can participate. Call 724-321-5124.

Green Tree -- Vacation Bible school at Wallace Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1146 Greentree Road, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 4-8. Children age 4 through those entering fifth grade may attend at no charge. Registration is due by Sunday. Call 412-561-2431.

WORKSHOPS

Center -- Penn State Cooperative Extension, 2020 Beaver Ave., will offer safe food handling workshops for food handlers from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 4-6. Exams for those being certified for the first time will be at 9 a.m. Aug. 8. The workshops also will offer recertification. Cost is $165 and includes book and continental breakfast.
