CONCERTS

Aliquippa -- Monaca Cornet Band will present a free concert at 7 p.m. Sunday on the lawn at the front entrance of Commonwealth Medical Center, 2500 Hospital Drive. Those attending should bring their own seating.

FOR CHILDREN

Economy -- Old Economy Village will hold Tracking Nature's Clues, a day camp for children ages 6-12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 4-8. Costs are $125 for Friends of Old Economy Village members and $150 for others. Deadline to register is July 27. Call 724-266-4500.

FUND-RAISERS

Moon -- The annual Chip-In for Lifesteps Beaver Golf Classic will be Monday at Montour Heights Country Club, 1401 Coraopolis Heights Road. Registration is at 10 a.m., followed by play at 11. The day features gifts for all golfers, field games, silent and live auctions, prizes and dinner. Call 724-774-6494.

LIBRARIES

Moon -- Science in the Summer, a series of free chemistry workshops for students entering grades 2-6, will be Aug. 4-7 at Moon Township Public Library, 1700 Beaver Grade Road. Students may choose a 9:30 a.m. or 11 a.m. starting time. A drawing on Monday will determine enrollment. Eligibility for the drawing is through registration, available through Saturday. REGISTRATIONS

Crafton -- Carlynton Little Cougars Football Association will hold the final registrations for football players and cheerleaders ages 7-13 at the field house across from Crafton Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and July 26; and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday through July 25. RELIGION

Crafton -- A day camp for children ages 5-14 will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 5-7 and Aug. 12-14 at Crafton United Presbyterian Church, 80 Bradford Ave. Cost is $15 per week. Deadline to register is Monday. Call 412-921-2293.

Aliquippa -- St. Titus Parish, Sheffield Avenue, will hold flea markets this month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays in the school hall.

McKees Rocks -- St. John of God Parish will hold an indoor flea market from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 1 pm. Sunday in Mother of Sorrows Church social hall, Norwood.

WORKSHOPS

Monaca -- A workshop on Improving Transition Time for young children will be at 7 p.m. June 26 at Penn State Cooperative Extension, 2020 Beaver Ave. Early childhood practitioners and parents can attend. Cost is $5. Call 724-654-8370.
