Sen. John S. McCain will be in the Pittsburgh region for a series of closed events today and tomorrow.

While the campaign had yet to release the final details of the visit, none of the events was scheduled to be open to the public. The Republican is to arrive from Washington late this afternoon. A closed interview was the only event on his schedule. He is planing to tour Consol Energy's headquarters in Washington County tomorrow morning.

Mr. McCain is in the midst of a week of events highlighting his proposals to revive to the economy.
