Wednesday, July 02, 2008

More than 600 people sent in the correct response to the June 24 challenge "Break the Code, Win a Gas Card" to decipher a message based on an actual code used by Soviet diplomat Aleksandr Ogorodnik, who was spying for the CIA.

The correct response was "Expand your horizons. Read a newspaper every day." The winner of the $25 gas card through a random drawing is Mary Windstein Fournier of Castle Shannon.
