The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum near the Meadowlands will hold a special event this weekend tied to Pittsburgh's 250th anniversary.
The museum will roll out Pittsburgh Railways Streetcar No. 4398, celebrating the restoration of the vehicle built in 1917. At the same time, the museum will begin operating on new tracks leading to the Trolley Display Building.
The special event will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday at its layout, including rides every half hour on vintage trolleys, hourly presentations on Pittsburgh transit history, tours and other activities. More information is available at www.pa-trolley.org.
